The Imaging Center for Women will host a Mammo & ManiCURE event on September 20th from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. as an opportunity to schedule your annual mammogram–you will receive a mini manicure at no cost. To register please call 540-741-9729 and ask to be included in the manicure party.

- 3D and 2D Mammogram: Both approaches are available
Imaging options include the new 3D Mammogram which provides better imaging and fewer callbacks. An additional charge may be required for 3D Mammogram. MIF and Radiology Associates of Fredericksburg recommend that all women begin annual mammograms at age 40 as an important prevention measure. 3D Mammogram has been demonstrated to provide higher quality screening for women with all types of breast tissue, including those with dense breasts.
