You can encourage greater health among friends and co-workers by having some fun while you encourage women to receive their annual mammogram. The Imaging Center for Women, a facility uniquely designed with women in mind, offers free party style Mammo and ManiCure events in which a mini-manicure and refreshments are provided at no cost.

Mammogram options include the new 3D Mammogram which provides more confidence with three-dimensional imaging and fewer callbacks in about the same time as a traditional mammogram. An additional charge may be required for 3D Mammogram. MIF and Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg recommend that all women begin annual mammograms at age 40 as an important prevention measure. 3D Mammogram has been demonstrated to provide higher quality screening for women with all types of breast tissue, including those with dense breasts.
