5-6 potatoes, peeled and diced

2 cans chopped clams, undrained

½ pound bacon chopped

1 med. Onion

3-4 stalks celery, chopped

1 pt. half and half

½ cup butter, melted


In a large sauce pot, place potatoes and juice from clams. Cover with water and boil until potatoes are done. Do not drain. Fry bacon, onion and celery until done. Combine with potatoes.  Add half and half, butter, and clams. Salt and pepper to taste. Thicken with flour and water if desired.
